Complete DJ Part 2 is for those who have taken the Complete DJ - Level 1 course or are already at a similar standard. If you want to make it as a successful DJ like our past alumni, then this course will get you there. You will expand your knowledge covering topics including Hot Cues, acapella mixing, effects, building your brand, and DJ software (Serato & Traktor Pro), and learn how to record, edit, and produce mixes to a professional standard. Our studios are located in Shoreditch - a global hub of London music venues and bars - and include state-of-the-art technology and a Pioneer DJ sponsored studio. Class sizes are small so you receive plenty of 1-2-1 support, each student has their own set up in class, and all music styles are welcome.

Darren Henry, a.k.a Quest, is a pioneer of the UK Dubstep sound since its inception back in the early 2000s, with releases on top tier labels including Deep Medi Music and Dub Police.

Shorty has a long history in radio, youth work and live events. Currently a resident DJ at the world famous cHip sHop in Brixton, and co-founder of More Than Music (MTM) who focus on youth work with at-risk and vulnerable young people.
J-Fresh is a BBC Radio 1Xtra mix resident, Ministry of Sound music curator, DJ, broadcaster and producer with support from BBC Radio 1, Mixmag, GRM Daily & Spotify Editorials.
Resident DJ for Goldie's Metalheadz label, presenter at 1Xtra, Radio 1 & Ministry of Sound. Recorded/remixed for Goldie, Roni Size, Guy Called Gerald, Trey Songz, Chipmunk, Nas & Damian Marley.

Spoony is a legend in UK dance music having brought garage to the masses in 2000 as part of the Dreem Team. He's since gone on to become a staple on Five Live but proved he's always learning by enrolling at PB!

Depending on your programme, certain pieces of hardware and software will be essential throughout your studies at Point Blank. To help with your independent learning and assessment work, you will need to have access to this equipment outside of the campus. However, if you are able to attend classes on-campus, this equipment will be available to use either in-class or by booking practice time. Note that you have access to our facilities 7 days a week during term time for the length of your course (excluding scheduled breaks). Please visit this page which lists the hardware and software you are required to own for programmes taught by Point Blank. Where you may choose to study online (distance learning), this equipment will be essential to your studies and assignment work. If for any reason you cannot afford to purchase an essential item, you may be eligible for financial support via the hardship fund. More information about this can be found here. If you wish to buy equipment or software for your home studio, remember that Point Blank students qualify for discounts from Apple Education, Ableton, Native Instruments, Pioneer DJ and other leading industry partners.
This course takes place on Tuesday and Thursday. Each class starts at 6:30pm and ends at 8:30pm.
