What better way to spend a weekend than learning how to DJ? If you’ve ever dreamt of being master of the decks at your favourite festival or party, then this is where your journey begins! This course will take you from scratching your head to scratching tracks and filling dance floors all in a weekend, so get yourself down to Point Blank’s state-of-the-art studios and learn how to mix alongside a pro DJ. This course will cover all the essentials of what it takes to begin a new exciting journey as a DJ in 2024. You’ll learn how to set up your gear, how to use a set of CDJs, drop mixing, switching up styles and tempos, beat matching, EQ-ing and loads more!
Point Blank classes are small to ensure you receive ample 1-2-1 time with your lecturers. Our studios are located in Shoreditch—a global hub of London music venues and bars—and include industry-standard, state-of-the-art technology, including a Pioneer DJ sponsored studio.

All necessary equipment will be provided. Point Blank has a Pioneer sponsored DJ studio containing a wide range of industry standard DJ hardware/software. Each student will have their own workstation during classes. Students may prefer to bring their own music (external hard drive, USB drive, analogue vinyl etc.) and/or headphones, but these can also be provided where needed.
Weekend courses take place on Saturday and Sunday. Each Saturday and Sunday class starts at 11am and ends at 6pm.
Non-UK students may need to apply for a Standard Visitor visa. Please refer to our International Student Guidance section for more information on the application process.
